It's time for Project Citizen at Cascade High School!

If you're still in a festive spirit, come see the CHS Band and Choir concert tomorrow January 8th at 7:00 p.m. at the CHS auditorium. Students will be performing the holiday set that they were initially scheduled to play in December before the windstorms kicked in. Come celebrate the wonderful musicians we have at the high school and enjoy one more festive event for the season!

Kittitas Valley Healthcare put together 70 "go bags" for our students after our recent storm. They included things like bathroom essentials, hats, gloves, water, flashlights, and some goodies. We are so touched by their kindness and generosity. Thank you, neighbors!

In art class, Discovery students learned how to sew, made ugly dolls, and wrote all about them. Aren't the ugly dolls actually cute?

PD's winter concert this evening was so special! Mrs. Ross reminded all of us about the importance of joy & community. Great job to our performers in grades TK-2, their music teacher Ms. Bates, & to the entire PD team!

Our American Sign Language high school class is signing holiday classics like Jingle Bells and Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer across the district!

Congratulations to our re-elected school board members Trey Ising and Mike Worden, who took their Oaths of Office on Monday! Zachary Miller will take his at the next school board meeting. We appreciate their service and the service of the entire school board!
