HearMeWA Tip Line

In 2021, the Washington State Legislature appropriated funds through a proviso for the Attorney General's Office to create a statewide program for receiving and responding to tips from the public regarding risks or potential risks to the safety and well-being of youth.

Cascade School District has partnered with the HearMeWA program for young Washingtonians up to age 25.

They are committed to being antiracist, trauma-informed, and youth-centered in the services they offer. Youth and youth-serving organizations are at the center of this program and help inform the work that they do. Trained crisis counselors will field all calls.

This program responds to tips 24/7/365, offers an app, text, chat, phone line, and website and serves youth up to the age of 25.

The intent of HearMeWA is to provide a place of support and early intervention for youth who may have concerns about themselves or others. The referral and response framework aims to defer youth from the criminal justice system and into systems of support that are inclusive and respectful of all youths' needs.
