Mexico marks a special occasion on the last day of April every year. This is a national celebration of children and childhood that often includes surprises visitors with importance that wraps children with genuine warmth on El Dia del Niño. Mexican culture highly values family and children and this is reflected on this day. The United Nations have been recommended to set aside a day to celebrate children, the recommendation was set in 1954.
This day is to focus on making children feel special and loved.
